Disassembled and sanded with 180 grit sandpaper

Wiped clean with soap and water

Filled damaged areas with Minwax stainable wood filler

Brushed on General Finishes gel stain in Brown Mahogany and wiped off immediately

Applied three coats of Minwax wipe-on poly in satin, allowing several hours of dry time between coats
