  1. Repaired the back leg with new dowels and scrap wood

  2. Stripped the sides, top and doors with Blue Bear Stripping Gel

  3. Sanded the entire piece with 80 grit sandpaper, then 100 grit, then 150 grit, and finished by hand sanding with 180 grit

  4. Removed water marks by scrubbing with a baking soda and water paste

  5. Sanded again

  6. Wiped clean with soap and water

  7. Filled extremely damaged areas with KwikWood Epoxy

  8. Touched up patched areas with Furniture Repair Kit

  9. Applied one coat of General Finishes gel stain in Antique Walnut

  10. Toned wood trim pieces and doors with Mohawk Toner in American Walnut

  11. Applied four coats of Minwax Wipe-On Poly in warm satin, sanding with 400 grit sandpaper in between each coat

  12. Sprayed the door hinges in Rustoleum Oil-Rubbed Bronze

  13. Lined the inside drawers with peel-and-stick wallpaper
